The first step is making sure that everything is straight before you apply, you can either use a spirit level or measure from two points that you know are straight or just align by eye. Once you are happy with the position then you fix this in place with a few pieces of tape at the top middle and bottom.  

Before you start to peel the application film away from the sticker it is vital to give it a good rub with a credit card or something rigid to ensure that the film is firmly affixed to the sticker and the backing sheet to ensure that it comes away with ease.

Next start to peel back the clear film and the sticker away from the wall slowly, if at any point the sticker does not come away from the film press it back on a give it another rub and it will start to come away with the film as you peel it back.

Once you have exposed half of the film and the sticker you can let it fold back on itself revealing the backing sheet. At this stage chop this part of the sheet off with scissors ready to start applying the sticker and the tape to the wall.

Now slowly lift the application film and the sticker up and easy onto the wall using your hand or something firm to rub it slowly onto the wall.

The pieces of tape you applied at the beginning can now be removed slowly taking care not to peel any paint off the wall.

You can now start peeling the backing sheet down slowly exposing the application film and the sticker, as before if only the film comes away without the sticker simply give it a little rub to ease it along.

Next firmly press the sticker onto the wall through the application film only focusing on the areas where the design is, any parts where it is just blank application film do not matter as this will be removed in the next stage.

Now you can slowly peel back the film leaving just the sticker behind, the best way is to pull the tape back on itself as pictured above. Sometimes small parts of the design will start to come away with the application film, all you need to do is press the film back on and give it a rub and this will press the sticker back onto the wall allowing you to continue peeling the film back.

Now you can stand back and feel proud of the beautiful piece of wall art you have just applied. Make sure to show all your friends and tell them how much of an interior design wiz you are
